WHAT IS IT? The Brainstorming Treasure Hunt is a
“scavenger hunt” activity designed to give attendees a fun
reason to visit and interact with every exhibitor on our
Resource Room floor. Where a traditional treasure hunt requires
participants to bring back specific items, our Treasure Hunt
gives them a sheet of questions, the answers to which can be
found on our Resource Room floor.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Each exhibitor is asked to provide
us with two “clue questions” for Treasure Hunt. We will choose
one of the clues submitted and that clue will appear on the
Treasure Hunt activity sheet, that every Brainstormer will
receive. Your clue questions should be fun, specific, and only
answerable by visiting and/or interacting with the people at
your Resource Room exhibit. Please avoid questions that could be
viewed as subjective (e.g. “Who’s the best ___ provider in the
business?”); might confuse you with a fellow exhibitor (e.g.
“What company’s Resource Room display is green and blue?”); or
have lengthy or complicated answers (e.g. “5,000 in Denver and
7,318 in states that start with an S.”). Attendees spend all day
Thursday hunting for their answers, then place completed sheets
in a box on the Resource Room Floor by 3:30 pm. We toss out the
incomplete ones, keep only the fully correct ones, and put them
back in the box for our Grand Prize drawings to be announced
during the Resource Room Wrap-Up Reception when in four separate
drawings, Team Multifamilypro will give away tempting stuff like
iPods and cash.
WHAT DO WE NEED YOU TO DO?
• Write your clues in the form of a one-line question (who,
what, where, why and how) with a short answer.
• Keep it specific and relative to your company.
• Give us two clue questions to choose from.
• Be sure to give us the answers, too.
Examples of some of the better questions we’ve received over
the past several years include:
• What does the President of XYZ Company have tattooed on his
ankle?
• Which company has a mascot named Tucker?
• What patented technology makes XYZ Company different from
other providers?

of every submission we receive and include every one we get
before the due date. If you don’t hear back from us within a
workday or so, it means we probably didn’t receive it, so please
